Yoga for Athletes SPRING 2021

Julie is passionate about teaching, and anyone who has taken a class with her knows that she is tough!! (In a very good way!)

Power Vinyasa is a style that requires a strong foundation, a good amount of grit, and a desire to work hard… and we’re excited to offer this series to help build a deeper understanding around the skills and principles that define this specific practice of yoga.

This 6-week series will invite you to truly become aware of your physicality, your breath, and the mind/body connection that can prevent injuries, increase endurance, and improve your all around happiness!

You will gain knowledge, body awareness, and confidence, not to mention strength, endurance, and character! Julie will break down the details of a Vinyasa, offer lots of body resistance training, and by the end, have you flowing on your yoga mat like a pro!

About the Instructor
Julie Brown is a 200 Hour Power Vinyasa Yoga Teaching Certified Yoga instructor who lives this very idea. As a dedicated runner that has qualified for Boston four times and continues to love marathon training, a previous group fitness instructor and mom to two lovely kids, she has found yoga to be her anchor for balance between all the physical and mental excitement.
